Oni Coffee is a coffee shop and roastery in Osaka, Japan, known for its traditional Japanese roasting techniques and welcoming communal space for coffee lovers. The name comes from "Onigawara," a demon mask used historically to ward off bad spirits and worn by samurai to intimidate enemies. Oni Coffee incorporates this symbol to honor Japanese culture and create a sense of recognition for locals and visitors alike. Their goal is to be a true neighborhood coffee shop while also expanding their roastery to ship Japanese-roasted beans internationally.
